Battle of the Boxes

Friday, July 27, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Join us for our newest event, “Battle of the Boxes” where teams of children and adults can build cardboard creations out of boxes, duct tape and markers.  This family-friendly competition is designed to help spark ingenuity among children. Each team may consist of 6 members with up to 2 adults. Teams will have one hour to create their cardboard structure. Judges will select a winner in each category and a Best of Show.  Register for one of three categories:

  • Tallest Structures (The sky’s the limit!)
  • Wearables & Costumes (Feeling fashionable? Create custom cardboard couture!)
  • Things That Go (Trains, planes, cars. spaceships and more!)

Boxes will be supplied by our presenting sponsor, Lowe’s. Duct tape, markers and other supplies will also be provided.The event is free with the price of museum admission and free to Members.
