The well-meaning but self-centered rodent simply asks for a treat, and then the turmoil begins. The mouse creates frenzy and laughter at every turn, as a young boy tries to keep the house and the Mouse in order while Mom is away.

With a set and costumes of recycled and re-purposed materials, the show features rap, hip-hop, ballads, and boogie-woogie. This funny play promotes recycling, eco-consciousness and earth sciences and tolerance for differently abled creatures.

It is performed in the historical commedia dell arte style with masks, stock commedia characters, and music. Arlecchino plays the Cricket, Pantelone plays Gepetto, Pedrolina plays a donkey, and Pinocchio plays himself, a puppet who learns to become a real boy with the help of Columbina, a fairy. Pitch Magazine called it, "the best Musical in KC in 2002.”
