Pinnochio Commedia (Non-Member Ticket)
This production of the traditional Italian tale of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi is adapted by Johnny Simmons. It is performed in the historical commedia dell arte style with masks, stock commedia characters, and music. Arlecchino plays the Cricket, Pantelone plays Gepetto, Pedrolina plays a donkey, and Pinocchio plays himself, a puppet who learns to become a real boy with the help of Columbina, a fairy. Pitch Magazine called it, "the best Musical in KC in 2002.”
