WONDERSCOPE is the perfect field trip destination for your class! We invite you and your students to experience an environment specifically tailored to their learning and developmental needs. Studies confirm that while children play in children's museums, observable and quantifiable learning takes place. From simple cause and effect, to fine motor skills, to informational and procedural learning, to conceptual cause and effect, our exhibits and programs are designed to engage children in simple and complex forms of play that result in foundational learning. A field trip to Wonderscope sparks lifelong learning through the power of play!

Reservations made are considered firm and no shows will be invoiced for the full amount of the reservation. If we do not receive phone contact from you to cancel or reschedule, you will automatically be billed for your reservation.
In the event of an emergency that causes your group to cancel your reservation, we will make every attempt to reschedule your group or send "I'm in FREE!" coupons for your students to visit the museum individually. Cash refunds are not possible.
Inclement Weather:
WCMKC will be closed due to inclement weather if the Shawnee Mission School District is closed. If this is the case, we will contact you when school is back in session to reschedule your field trip.
