WHO — Can’t bring your class to Wonderscope this semester? Want a more in-depth presentation at YOUR location? Let Wonderscope come to you! Participate in Wonderscope programs at your own school, library, camp, child care facility, or corporate event!

WHY — Extending the Wonderscope Children’s Museum experience beyond the museum walls is an important aspect of serving our entire community. By providing educational opportunities and informal learning experiences to community audiences at off-site locations, WCM broadens its ability to equip and inspire the next generation of creative problem solvers.

WHAT — Museum outreach programs bring hands-on learning experiences directly to your group. Led by Museum educators, all workshops embody Wonderscope’s philosophy that children learn best by touching, doing, seeing and having fun.

WHERE — Let Wonderscope bring the fun and learning to YOU! A Wonderscope Museum educator can travel -- to your classroom, library, camp, scout meeting, community center, childcare center, corporate event -- with these educational and entertaining experiences. These outreach programs are the perfect enhancement for large, venue, family-focused events, including community festivals, corporate picnics, school science nights/family nights or neighborhood block parties. We will help you create customized activities to fit your audience and setting.

HOW - To support the museum’s outreach programs, become a member of the WCM Clubhouse whose annual gifts and volunteer commitments provide the resources to help present these activities throughout the Greater Kansas City Region.

AVAILABILITY:		Monday-Thursday, 9 AM – 8 PM Saturday-Sunday, 9 AM – 8 PM
FEE:		negotiated, based on activities/length of time/number of participants (pre-payment required)
AGE RANGE:		1-10 years + adults
LENGTH:		negotiable
